ボンジュール！フランス語を勉強したい理由は人それぞれです。旅行、映画、シャンソン、料理にワイン、フランスでの勉強などなど。
私は外国語の授業で、コミュニケーションを用いた学習を大切にしています。というのも、私にとって文法や語彙はコミュニケーションをする上で役立つ、という考えがあるからです。授業内では各々興味のあることをフランス語で話し合うことも大切にしています。
Bonjour ! Il y a beaucoup de bonnes raisons de vouloir étudier le français : les voyages, le cinéma, la chanson, la cuisine, le vin, des études en France, le travail, etc.
Dans la classe, je privilégie l’approche communicative de l’enseignement des langues, c’est-à-dire que, selon moi, la grammaire et le vocabulaire doivent être au service de la communication. Nous pourrons ainsi discuter en français de ce qui vous intéresse.

Qu’est-ce que le patrimoine ? L’esprit critique ? Voilà des questions que vous ne vous êtes peut-être jamais posées et auxquelles le manuel de la classe vous invite à réfléchir. Étudier le français, ce n’est pas seulement apprendre des règles de grammaire et du vocabulaire, c’est aussi s’interroger, découvrir les différents sens d’un mot, partager des idées, des savoirs et ainsi, développer ses connaissances.

他動詞と自動詞の違いやwalkとworkの正しい発音を学ぶだけではなく、教室で経験することはもっとたくさんあるはずです。語学力をつけながら自信や発言する力がつくような雰囲気にして、生徒が講師やクラスメートとやりとりできるよう努めています。私はどのクラスでもそうでありたいと思っています。
It’s not just learning the difference between a transitive and intransitive verb or the proper pronunciation of “walk” and “work” The experience in the classroom should be a lot more. The interaction with your teacher and classmates in an atmosphere that also builds confidence and initiative along with the language skills is what I ideally strive for, and expect, in all of my lessons.

Learning vocabulary and grammar is our foundation. That said, we also need experiences that can be useful in the real world – the tricky part is finding other well-meaning, like-minded individuals. Nobody can master a language by using only textbooks—could you learn to swim from a book? Language is about interaction. Therefore, to master English, you must actively use it.
My classes use interesting topics as a base, so we can enjoy more than just the language. But be warned, I am a teacher who notices and fixes any mistakes!

授業のなかで、《学ぶことのよろこび》を毎回きちんと実感できることに重きを置いたレッスンが私の理想です。「それ以前にできなかったことができるようになる」のは無論大切であり、英語関連の各種検定試験でスコアをアップさせたいご要望等に我々は最大限に応えてまいります。しかしながら、それ以上に大切なのは、学びのプロセスそのものが喜びに満ちていることではないでしょうか。外国語学習のエッセンスはターゲット言語の世界を「生きる」ことに他なりません。外国語学習を通じて、母語以外の言語世界を生き始めてみませんか？それは、間違いなく豊かな体験となるでしょう。
My ideal lesson is to emphasize being able to feel the “joy of learning” in each lesson. It is undoubtedly important to respond to your requests to improve in terms of language skills or scores in various Engish exams. However, before everything, your learning process itself should be full of joy. In a sense, the essence of learning a foreign language could be compared to “living” in the world of your target language. Why don’t you start living in a world of foreign languages apart from your mother tongue? It will definitely be a rich experience for you.

世の中様々な習い事がありますが、語学学習は進歩が見えにくいかも知れません。また、文法や語彙など机上の学習は欠かせない一方で、日常生活や仕事の道具として実践的な訓練も欠かせないなど、いろいろ難儀なことだらけです。「やはり英語は難しい」と途中で諦める気持ちもごもっとも。
ですが、ここで敢えての提案です。語学学習は、「頂上に着くまでが華」です。苦しく見える途中の過程こそ楽しみであり、それができる境遇、一緒に旅してくれるクラスメイトや教師がいることの幸運に気付いた頃、自分の憧れる英語使いになっているのではないでしょうか。私達教師は、そうした楽しい旅のガイドでありたいと思っています。
I know many of you are learning English and often feel discouraged and disappointed about your seemingly slow improvement. I understand that, but though it may look very slow, you’re surely making progress. Stop looking at the summit (which often doesn’t really exist!) and the never-reachable gap, but enjoy the process of learning with your classmates and the teachers you trust. Then you are halfway there to the top!
